Influence of personality traits on incidence rate and severity of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease of patients from senior age group

Investigation of interconnection between IHD, peculiarities of psychological status of people from senior age groups and the level of stress hormone in blood allowed singling out two psychological types. Stress hormones depend-ing on the special features of the psychological type indirectly determine the specific form of reaction to stress leading to IHD. All cases of painful forms of IHD among representatives of the I psychological type manifested second to stable stenocardia, among representatives of the II psychological type – more often by the painless form of myocardial infarction, in most cases flowing as a Qwave myocardial infarction. Alcohol plays a major role in the development of IHD. Depression as a reflection of stresshormone level disorder can be viewed as a marker of unfavorable flow of blood circulation pathology.

Efficiency of prevention of preeclampsia and placental deficiency

The goal of the research is evaluation of efficiency of methods of preeclampsia and placental deficiency prevention using the methodological standards of evidence-based medicine.
Using the predictive preventive personalized approach, 373 pregnant women of the high risk group of severe forms of placental deficiency and preeclampsia had prevention of fetomaternal disease with small doses of acetosalic acid, magnesium, preventive carbogenes therapy, gradual application of gestagen dydrogesterone and angioprotectora-diosmine. Taking into account gestational and perinatal outcomes, efficiency standards of evidencebased medicine were defined (Relative risk reduction, Absolute risk reduction, NNT, OR), they allowed to specify ranks for approved prevention methods. The research showed a possibility of unified approach towards prevention of preeclampsia and severe forms of placental deficiency.

Influence of glycolic acid on microcirculation of blood in the skin at age-related changes

The article presents the results of studies of the effect of glycolic acid on blood circulation in the skin
with age-related changes. It was found that the skin of the hands of men and women aged 30–60 years compared to people aged 20–30 years showed a reduction in the microcirculation index by an average of 18 %  and a decrease in oxygen saturation of mixed blood by an average of 25%. After exposure of glycolic acid
solutions of different concentrations the following changes are displayed: improving microcirculation indicator by average 23 % (36 % solution) and 26 % (50 % solution), an increase in oxygen saturation of mixed
blood by 20 % (36 % solution) and 22 % (50 % solution) in comparison with the values prior to exposure.
Application of therapy aimed at correcting of blood microcirculation disorder is justified in patients of different age groups, including with the presence of pronounced wrinkles and other signs of aging.

Geriatric syndromes in palliative practice: analysis of issue in age aspect

The article presents the age analysis of geriatric syndromes, allowing to create a profile of integral medical, psychological and social problems in the provision of palliative care. It is shown that the medical problems were more common in the elderly stroke, p < 0.05. Among the psychological problems the lack of communication, conflicts in the family because of illness, fear and anxiety dominated. These concerns were also expressed in the elderly with cerebrovascular disease, which was accompanied by social problems (lack of communication, lack of family involvement in the lives of older people, lack of medicaments (p < 0.05).

Field marshal m.i. kutuzov’s lucky bullet (clinical and anatomical parallels)

Disputable points of the character of the field marshal M.I. Kutuzov’s two bullet wounds of 1774 and 1788 were reviewed. On the basis of modeling the contents of the right orbit, analysis of anatomical and topographical characteris-tics of orbits of 38 men of 24-45 years old via CBCT, reconstruction of possible wound canals was performed. It is sup-posed that the first wound was an anterior parabasal crotaphic orbital perforating nonpenetrating wound with the dam-age of oculomotor nerves and muscles of the right orbit, with the injure of the pole of the right frontal cortex. The second wound was an anteroposterior leftside gnathic and occipitalis parabasal nonpenetrating perforating bullet wound.

Characteristics of microcirculation of patients with moderate progress of copd and systemic arterial hypertension

47 patients with a moderate progress of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease secondary to arterial hypertension of the II degree had their figures of microcirculatory bloodstream studied using the multifunctional laser diagnostic complex “LAKK-M” in comparison with the group of apparently healthy people. There were found significant microcirculation disorders resulting into decrease of the average value of perfusion, of the intensityofuse coefficient of oxy-gen consumption in tissues, of efficiency of oxygen exchange.

Influence of profession and features of work on key reproductivity indicators among male patients at Florova clinic

The article runs about the impact of the nature of the activities (occupations) on the basic morphofunctional characteristics of sperm cells. Macroparameters (volume, viscosity, pH) and microparameters (motility, sperm cells morphology) were analyzed by light microscopy as well as connection between mental and physical stress on the reproductive function in men.

Evaluation of state of motor functions of people with acute cerebrovascular disease using goniometry

The analysis of scientific and methodological literature found out three methods that allow estimating the amplitude of active movements in joints having significant differences. On the one hand, it leads to invalid measurements, on the other hand, to absence of succession and traceability of measurement results. Besides, all methods existing nowadays are unacceptable for people that suffered from the acute cerebrovascular disease as they do not take into account the initial and the final positions. On the basis of the comparative study of existing models of goniometry and biomechanical structure of movement disorder in case of cerebral dysfunction, we have worked out an adaptive method that can be used to estimate the state of motor functions of people with the acute cerebrovascular disease. It was found out that evaluation of the change of stretching angle in elbow, knee and fetlock joints is of primary meaning to estimate the neurorehabilitation course efficiency.

Clinical and morphological characteritics of multilocular cystic variant of renal cell cancer

Research goal: investigation of clinical and laboratory as well as morphological characteristics of multilocular cystic variant of renal cell cancer. Research methods. Analysis of clinical, laboratory data and data of additional investigations as well as morphology including immunohistochemistry of 13 cases of multilocular cystic variant of renal cell cancer. Results. Lifetime morbid risk factors, clinical, laboratory, instrumental and morphological characteristics as well as factors of prognosis of multilocular cystic variant of renal cell cancer were analyzed. Conclusion. Carrying out a thorough clinical and laboratory, instrumental, morphological and immunohistochemical investigation of the renal tumor allows to conduct differential diagnostics of the multilocular cystic variant of RCC with clearcelled renal tumor with cystic transformation that is critical for prognosis and tactics of treatment of renal cell carcinoma.
