Evaluation of psychoneurological problems of people with gastroenterological pathology

There was conducted an evaluation of psychoneurological problems of people with a gastroenterological profile. 49 persons were investigated: 25 men and 24 women on inpatient treatment. The average age of men was 47 years old and the average age of women was 49 years old. In our work, a new method of screening the functional state of the organism via the medical expert complex CME SWISS AG (Slovakia) was applied. Also, a computerized program of evaluation of the current psychological state CMS (Russia) was used as well as widely known psychophysiological methods applied via the NS-PsychoTest complex (Russia). Eating behavior, social status, subjective states, etc. were taken into account. Results of the research based on the whole complex of used methods showed that the majority of patients of the investigated group are characterized by common psychoneurological issues: fear, suppressed nervousness, low selfesteem, etc. There is very often a state of chronic stress and an extremely low level of resources for adaptation. Significance of the psychic factor for the efficiency of the conducted therapy was also noted.
