The background values of the electroencephalogram based on the mean amplitude in adolescents are analyzed. It is pointed out that the background indicators of the amplitude are determined not only by the age of the subjects, but also by the emotiveness of the information obtained in advance. Different terms for the formation of the amplitude of alpha rhythm in boys and girls are revealed, which points to the need to take into account the emotional coloring of information given to boys and girls.
The asymmetry coefficient confirms the opinion about the specific involvement of the right hemisphere in the identification of emotionally colored objects. It was found that the negative coloring of information in children aged 11-13 leads to depression of the α-rhythm.
