Morphology of connective tissue in rats cervix at reparative regeneration after experimental tension

The article decribes a study of connective tissue morphology in rats’ uterine cervix at reparative regeneration after experimental tension. It has been established that mechanical experimental tension of lower uterin segment leads to fibers tension, and on the 21st day of regeneration the fibers are fragmented, which may be the result of damage and collagenolysis caused by collagenase from inflammatory cells. Collagen proteolysis induced by various cells plays important role in regulation of collagen type composition in the process of inflammation and regeneration. Whatever is the type of regenerative process after traumatic damage of uterine cervix tissues, the fragmented collagen fibers can not perform their biomechanical function normaly as architectonics is broken.
