Anti-arrhythmic effect of bromine nicotinic acid derivatives on the calcium chloride arrhythmia model

Anti-arrhythmic activity of the compounds under the codes 4265, 2463, GAM, OETAN was studied in an experimental model of arrhythmia caused by calcium chloride. The results of ECG study in the simulation of calcium chloride arrhythmia in rats are presented. It was established that bromine nicotinic acid derivatives, when administered for therapeutic purposes in the dose of 20 mg/kg of a 1 % aqueous solution, promote rapid restoration of cardiac rhythm in 5–15 minutes.
