Histostructural organization of vaginal wall at the point of transition in the urogenital sinus in rabbits

By light microscopy, it was possible to clarify the histological structure of the lower third of the vaginal wall at the point of transition in the urogenital sinus. It was established that at the junction of genital and urethral sinuses, vaginal mucosa lined with a single layer of prismatic ciliated epithelium changes abruptly into a multilayered transitional epithelium observed in the mucosa of the urethra. The muscular coat of the vagina in this area is characterized by the increase in the circular layer and the formation of the sphincter.

Morphological characteristics of spermatogenesis in normal conditions and in idiopathic infertility (immunohistochemical aspect)

At present, the role of some biologically active substances in male idiopathic infertility is not studied well enough. Besides, little is known about the possible positive expression of oncological markers in the germ cells in idiopathic infertility. Also, there is little scientific evidence for an empirical approach in the treatment of
idiopathic infertility. Morphological analysis of normal and abnormal spermatogenesis using immunohistochemical markers (proliferation and apoptosis, growth factors, embryonic, spermatogonial, spermatocytal, locomotor apparatus) would later mark the vector of the pathogenesis and the search for adequate treatment (mostly conservative), as well as possible prevention.

Regional model of public-private partnership in the organization of medical rehabilitation of vertebral neurological patients

The analysis carried out in the article allowed to justify the algorithm of evaluation of the economic efficiency of the hospitals, which we used to determine the parameters of the joint activities of public and private healthcare, operational climate of medical institutions in the framework of the program of state guarantees for providing the population with free medical care. In the transition to the single-channel financing, solving the problems of optimization of the municipal healthcare structure and appropriate interbudgetary relations will allow to meet the medical, organizational and economic interests of participants of the medical process.

Reactive adjustments of morphological and biochemical composition of the blood of rats to the load of grape seeds oil meal

The article deals with the reactive adjustments of morphological and biochemical composition of the blood of rats to the load of grape seeds oil meal. It was found that continuous load of grape seed oil meal contributes to the significant increase in the number of erythrocytes in the blood of rats by 24,0 %, hemoglobin concentration by 32,4 %, the amount of stab neutrophils by 31,2 % and segmented neutrophils by 12,0 %, as well as decrease in monocytes by 20,4 % compared to the control. The influence effect of
grape seed oil meal on the biochemical composition of rat blood is most evidently seen in the significant increase in the amount of albumin by 13,9 % and the decrease in the concentration of γ-globulins by 11,8 %.

Functional capabilities of respiratory system of the sportsmen who are domiciled in the north

The examination of the respiratory system was carried out among 75 male students living in the North. The purpose was to determine the peculiarities of external respiratory function in individuals that not involved in sports and sportsmen with different areas of the training process. The key indicators of respiratory function were determined using the hardware-software complex «Spiro-Spectrum». We found that high physical activity of the cyclical nature in the North contributes to the economization of the function
of the system of external breathing, but it may increase the risk of obstructive disorders development.

Morphological features of women in the third trimester of physiological pregnancy

This study presents the results of the study of anthropometric data, body component analysis of women in the third trimester of physiological pregnancy, to determine morphological criteria of maladjustment violations and justification of optimal orientation of preventive measures. It was found that the morphological indicators suggestive of adjustment mechanism violation in women in the third trimester of physiological pregnancy are: weight gain of more than 16 kg, the rate of the fat component over 30 %, the total amount of endogenous water in the body less than 50 %. These indicators require the correction of the standard program of prenatal care for women in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Kiss-peptin level in women with pregnancy termination at an early stage

Currentness and purpose: kisspeptin – hormone encoded by the gene kiSS-1 is normally produced in the human brain tissue and regulates the reproductive function [1]. So far, the issues related to the change in the kisspeptin level and its participation in the processes of natural maintenance and development of pregnancy remain practically unexplored. Material and methods. To determine the kisspeptin level in women during pregnancy, three groups of women were studied: somatically and gynecologically healthy women with normal pregnancy (Group III), women with threatened miscarriage (Group I) and women with miscarriage (Group II), the kisspeptin level
was determined by the method of immune-enzyme analysis with the set of Kisspeptin-54 reagents (metastin) (with extraction) (BCM DIAGNOSTICS).
Results. All women, both with a threatened miscarriage and with miscarriage already occurred, showed a significant reduction of all gonadal hormones in the blood serum compared to women of the same gestational age without the threat of miscarriage. Kisspeptin level fell dozens of times in the women of the first and second groups as compared to the levels recorded in healthy pregnant women (Group III). Conclusion. Thus, kisspeptin takes part in the processes of maintenance and carrying of a pregnancy and can be used to predict the threat of miscarriage in pregnant women.
