The estimation of biological activity of novel derivatives azoles by responses of the erythrocytary system

In the paper, results of the investigation of the five-time intraperitoneal administration of novel azoles derivatives, 1,1-di(1H-imidazol-1-yl)methanimine and 1,1-bis(4-methyl-1H-imidazol-1yl)methanimine jn the red blood cells system parameters (amount of the red blood cells, reticulocytes and hemoglobin in the peripheral blood) are presented. It was found that the administration of 1,1-bis(4-methyl-1H-imidazol-1yl)methanimine induced an increase in all parameters studied, whereas administration of the 1,1-di(1H-imidazol-1-yl)methanimine caused an increase only in amount of reticulocytes. Possible mechanisms of action of the compounds are discussed.

Surgical treatment of traumatic injuries of the duodenum

Currently, diagnostics and treatment of trauma cases of the duodenum, especially its retroperitoneal space, is the most complicated and actual problem in urgent abdominal surgery. This problem
is specified by the absence of clear and specific clinical picture of the given pathology and its rare incidence. The authors present their 10-year findings on the diagnostics and peculiarities of
treatment of the traumatic duodenum injury with ND-YAG laser (wavelength 810 nm).

The role of pancreas secretion inhibitors in combination therapy of patients with pancreatonecrosis

Investigation results of somatostatin and its synthetic analogues’ influence on the course and outcomes of different pancreatonecrosis types are presented in the article. It turns out that an early
administration of pancreas secretion inhibitors associated with appropriate antibacterial prophylaxis helps to reduce manifestations of systemic inflammatory reaction and mortality of patients with
pancreatonecrosis.

Clinical application of photodynamic therapy for treating peritonitis

The given work makes the comparative assessment of the effectiveness of combined treatment in patients with peritonitis. The researchers applied intraoperative sanation of the abdominal cavity,
photodynamic therapy (PDT), postoperative intravenous laser blood irradiation with low laser energy ( ILBI-LLLI) and traditional techniques. 123 patients were included into the study. They
were divided into two groups – main (n-48) and control (n-75). PDT was done with LED medical device LANTUS-T «Maska». Exposure time: 100-120sec per each zone; continuous mode, output
power 0.2Wt (energy density 20- 25 J/cm2). ILBI was done with laser device «Mulat» (λ=0.63 nm), irradiation power 5 mWt (daily, for 7-10 days), exposure time 20 min.
The developed technique of potentiating traditional schemes of peritonitis treatment with laser technologies during surgery and after it has allowed to achieve a precise eradication (PDT) of the
lesion during the surgery and polyvalent positive effect (ILBI – LLLI) after the surgery. At the same time there were no any pharmacological loadings at patients. One could see an early resorption
of endogentic intoxication. Thus, the developed technique has decrease the mortality index from 22.5 % till 12.5 %.
